AMCOL Systems, an Employee Owned (ESOP)
Healthcare Receivables Management and Collection Firm
established in 1976 and conducting its call center
operations in Columbia, SC seeks a CFO for our
rapidly expanding organization. The CFO will report to
the CEO and assume a strategic role in overall management
of the company. This individual will participate in
business planning and execution including strategy and
forecast development, and profit enhancement. Will be
responsible for ensuring effective financial controls,
managing the financial operations of the business, and
directing or participating in the planning, execution,
and finalization of projects as assigned. Candidate must
have BS in Accounting or Finance with 10 plus years in
financial leadership roles. Collections background and
MBA or CPA highly desirable.
Direct and oversee all aspects of
the Finance and Accounting functions of the
organization.
Responsible for presenting and
reporting accurate and timely historical
financial information of the company.
Provide timely and accurate analysis
of the budgets, financial trends and forecasts.
Responsible for the company's
present financial condition.
Determine how to invest company
funds taking into consideration risk and
liquidity and oversee the capital structure of
the company determining the best mix of debt,
equity and internal financing.
Take hands-on lead position of
developing, implementing, and maintaining a
comprehensive client cost system.
Identify and report areas of high
efficiency and how the company can capitalize on
this information.
Provide leadership in identifying
areas where efficiency can be increased and in
developing solutions.
Develop, enhance, and implement
forecasting and modeling methodologies which help
ensure the company's future success.
Provide executive management with
advice on the financial implications of business
activities.
Establish and maintain strong
relationships with senior executives so as to
identify their needs and seek a full range of
business solutions.
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE
Bachelor of Science in Accounting or
Finance; MBA or CPA highly desirable.
10+ years in progressively
responsible financial leadership roles.
Strong interpersonal skills, ability
to communicate and manage well at all levels of
the organization.
Strong problem solving and creative
skills, the ability to exercise sound judgment,
and make decisions on accurate and timely
analysis.
High level of integrity and
dependability with strong sense of urgency and
results orientation.
PC proficiency in a Windows
environment is essential. Strong working
knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.
